- CAHSEE is coming
- The California High School Exit Exam will be given to all 10th grade students and any 11th and 12th grade students who have not passed on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 (English Language Arts) and Wednesday, March 17, 2010 (Mathematics). The CAHSEE is a high school graduation requirement for all high school students.
- Students must attain the minimum score of 350 (out of 450) for both English Language Arts and Mathematics to meet the requirement.
- Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students are to report to their testing sites with photo ID.
- ECR will be on a special block schedule for both dates. All students (9th, 11th, and 12th) are expected to attend school whether they are scheduled to take the CAHSEE or not.

- Free California High School Exit Exam Classes will be offered to all grades this semester. All students are required to pass this test in order to graduate. 10th graders will take the test on Tuesday March 16th (English), and Wednesday March 17th (Math). Now is the perfect opportunity to get the review needed and find out what is on the test. You can also earn up to 5 graduation credits for taking both classes. Classes are also offered for 11th and 12th graders who have not yet passed the test. 11th and 12th graders will take the test on Tuesday February 2 (English), and Wednesday February 3 (Math), and Tuesday March 16th (English), and Wednesday March 17th (Math). If you are interested, need information, or would like to sign up, please contact Mr. Beckerman in room S-2, or Email him at Jbeckerm@lausd.net. Space is limited, so act quickly.

- Clearing Absences
- Students who are returning to school after an absence have 10 days to provide a parent or doctor’s note. Notes will NOT be accepted after the 10th day. Any unresolved absences will become truancies, per District Policy, LAUSD 2009–2010 Parent Student Handbook, pg.7.
